I am a second year Ph.D student in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics at Iowa State University expecting to complete the degree in Spring 2021. I am working under Dr. Ming-Chen Hsu and Dr. Jue Yan. I also received my Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics at Iowa State University with a Master's Thesis "Positivity-preserving finite volume methods for compressible Navier-Stokes equations" under Dr. Jue Yan.
Prior to Iowa State, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Acturarial Science at Marist College.

My current research lies in the field of computational fluid dynamics, isogeometric analysis, and fluid--structure interaction with an emphasis on biomedical applications.
I have a three year old cat named Elfy, but everyone calls her Kitty.
My volleyball team competed in the New York State Championship during my freshman year.
I'm getting married in November 2020!
