Graduate Summer School on Mirror Symmetry in the log Calabi-Yau setting

May 26 -- June 1 2023, YHA Eyam Hall

Description

The main goal of our summer school is to bring together a group of graduate students and early career researchers in a very informal, friendly atmosphere at a beautiful countryside venue, so that they can work on a range of topics from Mirror Symmetry. The main goal will be to understand the recent advances in understanding and constructing log Calabi-Yau mirrors from both an algebro-geometric and a symplectic point of view. The participants are encouraged to give talks and all the talks will be delivered by students, following a carefully put-together reading plan. For more details about the topic, references and a preliminary plan of the proposed lecture topics, see Schedule.
