Accommodation

Few nearby options include The Mont Hotel, The Alex Hotel, and The Trinity City Hotel. A limited number of campus accommodations may be available (contacts are here).

For the people staying in Campus accommodation, few useful info:

You should have received via email a number to identify your room. The convention is the following: the first number is the house number (51 or 52). The second number is the floor of the house (1, 2 or 3) and the third one is the room number. You will find also attached  here a map of the campus. Houses 51 and 52 are in the block: Pearse street houses.

You can collect the key for your room from the Accommodation Office in West Chapel (Front Square) every day until midnight.

If you arrive after midnight, you can collect the key from Security at the Front Arch of College. If you have any problem with the check in, please call Security on +353 1 896 1317 or +353 1 896 1999  (Emergency number). Check in time for the guest rooms is from 12 noon.  Check out time is at 10 am. Breakfast is included and served  7.30am – 10 am in the Buttlery.

To access Trinity, there are different gates, here you can find the opening times https://www.tcd.ie/Maps/access-times.php It is a bit hard to see the gate in the map, but if you try to enter when the front gate is closed, just walk on the right (with the campus on your left), if you keep walking, you will see that there are three gates in a row (as you see from the map), one of it should be open.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you go out in the evening and want to enter from the main gate after Midnight (all the other gates are closed), you should ring the bell on the left of the main gate and the security will open. Remember to bring with you your ID card or passport. This is very important! If you don’t have it, they may not let you in!
