Through the generous sponsorship of the National Science Foundation POSE Program, we are organizing the hls4ml Workshop. This 2-Day workshop will be held on April 30 - May 1, 2025 at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.
This workshop is primarily targeted at undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in computer science, computer engineering, and electrical engineering programs with an interest in design of hardware and digital systems for machine learning, design automation, high level synthesis, and FPGAs. We welcome applications from rising junior and rising senior undergraduate students and newly enrolled graduate students who plan to pursue an advanced degree, e.g. MS or first year Ph.D degree.
This workshop will provide an introduction to hls4ml, which is an automated tool to convert ML models to high level descriptions that can be used in the High Level Synthesis flows to develop digital hardware implementations of fast edge-ML applications. Participants will learn about hls4ml as well as about application domains in science and engineering where edge-ML hardware is utilized. This workshop will contain a mix of technical presentations and training sessions on hls4ml led by academic and National Lab leaders as well as networking activities with these experts.
A detailed program will be announced soon.
