About me

Since 2012, I am a full professor of the Instituto de Matemática at UFRJ -  Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Prior to this I was at UNICAMP - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, having become full professor in 2008. My research concerns problems in Fluid Dynamics, particularly nonsmooth, weak solutions, of Partial Differential Equations which model incompressible flows, especially in the regime of transition to turbulence. My main tools are analysis of partial differential equations, functional analysis, harmonic analysis and real analysis.
