"Cold beer") is a Croatian punk rock band. The recording act, fronted by Mile Kekin, remains one of the most popular rock bands in Croatia.

On May 21, 1988 the band held their first concert in Kumrovec. In 1988 band has also held an unsuccessful concert at lake Jarun in Zagreb, due to the drummer of the band which played before them refusing to leave the drums for Hladno pivo.

Dinovski was published in 1993 and was a hit. After Dinovski, Hladno pivo held about ten concerts in Croatia and Slovenia. In June 1993 Tedi left the band and was replaced by Hado from grindcore group Patareni. (Some informed sources[who?] claim that none of the former members of Hladno pivo had left the group, i.e. each of them was pushed out of the band in a very unfair and unfriendly way, leaving resentment for years after the event).[citation needed] After that the band started practicing a lot. While they were preparing for their next album, they held about 40 concerts across Croatia, Slovenia and a concert in Bregenz, Austria. In 1993 Hladno pivo was awarded the Porin music award for a best alternative rock album.

Istono od Gajnica is the fifth album by Hladno pivo. It was released in 2000. This album is the first release of an Hladno pivo live performance. The concert was held in Zagreb, Croatia.

Krajem 2000. sastav je zaokruio jedno desetljee snimkom koncerta Istono od Gajnica. Idue godine pjeva Mile Kekin objavljuje samostalni projekt U dva oka pod imenom Mile i Putnici.[7] Godine 2002. Hladno pivo dovrava skladbu jednostavnog naziva "Himna", objavljenu na istoimenom EP-u, za nogometnu reprezentaciju za Svjetsko prvenstvo u Japanu u ijoj izvedbi su sudjelovali i vratari Stipe Pletikosa i Tomislav Butina.

Nakon podue stanke 16. travnja 2011. objavili su novi album pod nazivom Svijet glamura.[17] Proljetno ljetni dio turneje nazvan je Dodvoravanje Tour 2011, dok je jesensko zimski dio odvija pod imenom Kud pivo tud i ja.

Njihov proboj krenuo je krajem osamdesetih iz zagrebakog zapadnog predgraa Gajnice, da bi krajem 90-ih ostali ubiljeeni kao definitivno najznaajniji domai punk rock band tih godina i jedan od najboljih rock bandova uope na domaoj sceni. Nakon tri albuma koji su zakljuili neformalnu trilogiju (Dinovski, G.A.D. i Desetka) u kojoj je Hladno pivo zajedno sa svojom publikom odrastalo i "apsolviralo" sve uline i klupske odlike pop punka, punk rocka i hardcore punka, bend je odluio obogatiti svoj izriaj snimivi 1999. do tada najbolje producirani album Pobjeda (producent Edi Cukeri), s novim dodatnim lanom Stipom na trubi, te koritenjem klavijatura, akustine i slide gitare to je bunom iskazu nabacilo neto mainstream irine i instrumentalne panoraminosti zvune slike. Na Pobjedi se u osnovnoj punk rock potki kao bazinom stilu ili van nje uju ska ritmovi, country lirika, heavy metal tutnjava, folk poetika, jazzy ugoaj, pa ak i apokaliptini narodnjak Bakizagre stuhpa eja.

Nakon dulje stanke, Hladno pivo je 2011. izdalo album Svijet glamura. Pratila ga je turneja po Hrvatskoj i inozemstvu, ija se proljetna etapa zvala Dodvoravanje Tour 2011, a jesenska Kud pivo tud i ja. 2015. objavljuju album Dani zatvorenih vrata.

The band initially consisted of four members: Zok, Tedi, Suba, Mile. The band started playing under the influence of bands like: Ramones, Motrhead, Sex Pistols, Zabranjeno Puenje. In 1987, Stipe joined the band. On May the 21st, 1988 the band held their first concert in Kumrovec, Croatia. Soon after Hladno pivo held their concerts in KSET and Video-teatar, they were accepted by the public. They soon recorded a music video of the song Buba vabe (remake of Toy Dolls' song Spiders In The Dressing Room) in Mile's house for 200 German marks. This music video was broadcasted as a part of a music show called Hit-depo in April of 1992. This allowed the band to be introduced to whole of Croatia. The same year A. Draga and T. unji offered the band to make a record as T.R.I.P. records. T.R.I.P. records had in that time negociated with Croatia Records. The result of the collaboration was the T.R.I.P. zone compilation where Hladno pivo appeared with two songs. On the December 17 1992 in Ljubljana, Slovenia Hladno pivo appeared as an intro band for KUD Idijoti. The band also appeared on the Tivoli festival with Dr. Nelet Karajli and his fraction of Zabranjeno Puenje. The same year in November the band makes its first album - Dinovski in a studio called Best Music from Vrbik, Zagreb.

On the October 11, 1994 Hladno pivo performed in Dom sportova, Trenjevka as intro band for the Ramones. In February 1995 the band records their second album called G.A.D. under T.R.I.P. records - Croatia Records. The album G.A.D. appeared on the market in May 1995. On the January 19 1996 Hladno pivo held a concert in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. In March 1997 the bend chooses Jabukaton from Ljubljana, Slovenia as their recording studio and record their third album Desetka. 2351a5e196
