HLA365 ("the app") is a study aid for histocompatibility and immunogenetics certification exams, including ASHI's CHS exam, EFI accreditation, and other national and international certifying bodies.
DATA COLLECTION
HLA365 does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:
The app does not require an account, login, or any personal information.
All quiz content, flashcards, and exam questions are bundled with the app itself and do not require an internet connection to use. The only network activity the app performs is the in-app purchase flow described below, which is handled entirely by Google Play's (or Apple's) billing system.
Your quiz progress and exam history are stored only in local storage on your device, using Android's standard app storage. This data is never transmitted anywhere and is deleted if you uninstall the app.
The "report an issue" feature opens your device's own email app with the report pre-filled, addressed to our support email. Nothing is sent automatically the report is only transmitted if you choose to send that email yourself, using your own email account.
The app contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking software of any kind.
IN-APP PURCHASES
HLA365 offers a one-time purchase to unlock full access after a free trial. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play's billing system (or Apple's, on iOS); HLA365 never receives your payment details, and no purchase or billing data is transmitted to or stored by the developer.
There is no subscription and no recurring charge — full access is unlocked for life with a single purchase. This lifetime access is tied to the Google (or Apple) account used to make the purchase: it is automatically restored on that same account on any device, including after reinstalling the app or switching phones, as long as you are signed into the account you originally purchased with.
PERMISSIONS
HLA365 does not request any device permissions (camera, location, contacts, storage, etc.) beyond standard app installation.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
HLA365 is intended for adult medical laboratory professionals studying for a professional certification exam and is not directed at children. As the app collects no data from any user, this applies equally to users of any age.

HLA365 is an independent study aid and is not an official resource of, affiliated with, or endorsed by ASHI (the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics), EFI (the European Federation for Immunogenetics), or any other histocompatibility certifying body.
EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY
HLA365 is intended solely as a study and exam-preparation aid. It is not a substitute for official certifying-body study materials, institutional standard operating procedures, continuing education requirements, or professional clinical judgment. Content should not be relied upon for actual laboratory testing, patient care, or clinical decision-making always consult current official guidance and your institution's protocols.
NO WARRANTY
Content is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy or completeness. While content is reviewed for quality, errors may exist despite good-faith effort if you spot one, please use the in-app "report an issue" feature or contact us below. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HLA365 and its developer disclaim liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on app content.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of HLA365 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
PURCHASES & REFUNDS
All purchases are billed and fulfilled through Google Play (or the Apple App Store, on iOS).
HLA365 includes a free 3-day trial before any payment is required, so you can evaluate the app before purchasing. Because of this, refunds are not offered simply because you have finished studying, already sat for your exam, or otherwise no longer need full access. Refunds are considered only for a legitimate reason such as a duplicate charge, a confirmed billing error, or a technical failure that prevented the purchase from unlocking the app and only if requested within 30 days of the original purchase date. Requests made after this window, or without a qualifying reason, will not be granted by the developer.
Refund requests and disputes are ultimately subject to Google Play's or Apple's own refund policies and procedures, which govern the final decision and may differ from this section. Nothing in this section limits any refund rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
