I am an Economist in the World Bank's Chief Economist Office for the South Asia Region.
Welcome to my personal website. My research focuses on topics at the intersection of macroeconomic development and international trade. In particular, I am interested in the role that trade through global value chains plays in shaping structural change and industrialization in developing countries. Before joining the World Bank, I was a PhD researcher at the Groningen Growth and Development Centre (GGDC).
