10 Minute Practice Session - Idea Two
Warm Up with a slow scale.
Play the scale with good articulation.
Use a mirror to check your posture while playing.
Sight read 4 to 8 measures of music you haven’t learnt before.
Play 2-3 lines of Band music with good posture, articulation and with high accuracy of notes and rhythms.
Make up a short song using notes and rhythms you used in your practice..
10 Minute Practice Session - Idea Three
Warm Up with a scale descending then ascending.
Log into the HKIS UP Band Play-Along site and play along with your part, and then with the whole band.
Record yourself playing along, and give yourself feedback.
