From an early age, I’ve been captivated by the creative essence of everyday life, from the vibrant scenes of art and music to the adrenaline rush of extreme sports and the raw energy of hip-hop and metal culture in India. Documenting the cultural evolution in India, particularly in Pune historically known as the "Oxford of India" for its educational and engineering prowess has been a passion of mine. Pune, a city deeply rooted in Hindu culture and celebrated as one of the most livable cities in India, has transformed dramatically over the past 12 years. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing and preserving this metamorphosis through my lens.
For the past six years, my trusty Xiaomi MI A3 – Android One smartphone has been my creative companion. Despite the mishap that left me with only the 8 MP wide-angle camera (after breaking the 48 MP main shooter), this limitation has turned into a strength. It has honed my photography skills, enabling me to capture and document the world around me with a unique perspective. Whether it’s chronicling daily life or indulging in experimental and purely abstract long-exposure photography, my journey with this humble device has been a testament to the power of creativity under constraint.
