Cookies
2 c. Sugar
1 c. Butter
2 Eggs
1 c. Sour Cream
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tbsp Nutmeg
1 tbsp Vanilla
6 c. flour
Vanilla Frosting
3 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. butter softened
1 1/1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
Heat oven to 375 F (190 C).
Mix ingredients well. Cover bowl and allow dough to chill, at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Dust a countertop with flour and turn out the dough. Roll to about a 1/4 inch thick. Cut and place cookies on a baking sheet. Bake cookies for 7-8 minutes or until edges are slightly brown. Cool. Once cooled, frost the cookies as desired.
