My research work is motivated by fundamental questions in soft matter, such as: "Whether soft material's properties are related to their underlying local structure? If yes, how can we examine and measure these relationships?"

Soft materials of interest: 

• Complex fluid: drying colloidal suspension and polymer solution 

• Active matter: dense bacteria suspension and biofilms

• Polymer films: wrinkling instabilities and wetting
