Hisan Yang
Welcome! I am a PhD candidate at University of Utah in the Entrepreneurship and Strategy group.
My primary research interest lies in exploring the impact of incentive systems on employee motivation and retention. In a related research stream, I explore the behavioral mechanisms enabling managers or entrepreneurs with limited information to outperform those with greater access to information.
In my job market paper, I empirically explore ratchet problems in hierarchically nested principal-agent relationships.
