vetrovna pesem zveni mu jasno.
»Wuu-uu!« zapiha nad vasjo,
Wiktor pa zapoje z njo.
Veter in volk — duet iz sna,
v vetrovni vasi vsak dan igra.

Wiktor and the Windy Village
Wiktor, a wolf with a soft coat, lived in a little village where the wind always blew. The houses were made of wood, with windmills on the rooftops, and every day the wind brought new sounds and scents.
Wiktor was a curious wolf who knew how to make instruments from twigs and seashells.
One day, he built a wind harp and placed it on a hill. When the wind blew, beautiful music filled the air.
Everyone from the village came to listen.
From that day on, Wiktor was known as the wolf who could tune the wind into song.
Wiktor the wolf sleeps on a hill,
the breeze wakes him, soft and still.
He weaves a harp from a swaying tree,
its windy song rings wild and free.
“Wuuu-uuu!” the gusts above do play,
Wiktor howls with them every day.
The wolf and the wind — a dreamy duet,
in a windy village, the tune is set.
