Kleidoscope is a Kpop event right here in the Philippines, it is organized by a passionate group of students and some helpful people who are genuine fans of this genre and its iconic groups. This event is a collaborative effort by multiple K-pop supporting groups and supported by enthusiastic people within k-pop, including some well-known companies such as Globe. This event is set to happen this December 2023.
I had the privilege of contributing to the brand ideation of this event, and I must say that it's been quite a journey as someone who's not really into k-pop, it was a thrilling event that gave me such knowledge and experience. I may have fallen short with this project, due to some personal reasons but i would say that these types of challenges make my journey more rewarding.
The creative manager tasked us to a Y2K x K-pop feels for the branding thus including each semicircle comprises a partial representation of the Positive and Negative Taeguk, a fundamental component of the Korean Flag. The use of Chrome effect gave it a sense of usual y2k genre including the shimmering effects.
