I am an Associate Professor at Kobayashi-Maskawa Institute (KMI), Nagoya University and currently a Visiting Scholar at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL)/California Institute of Technology. Before moving to KMI I was a Designated Assistant Professor at Institute for Advanced Research, Nagoya University. Before moving to Nagoya University, I was a Caltech Postdoctoral Scholar at JPL. Before moving to JPL, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton University. I obtained Ph.D at University of Tokyo in 2012.

My research interest primarily lies in observational cosmology through weak gravitational lensing measurements using big data from large-volume galaxy surveys. I have been actively working on the Subaru Hyper Suprime-Cam (HSC) survey. We are now working very hard on the HSC first-year data to get science results out! I am also working on preliminary studies for upcoming galaxy surveys such as NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope and Vera Rubin Observatory's Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST).
