2021年3月 大阪大学大学院情報科学研究科 博士後期課程修了。博士（情報科学）。同年4月より、大阪大学大学院情報科学研究科マルチメディア工学専攻助教。2025年10月から、大阪大学D3センター准教授。物理ベースビジョンおよびコンピュテーショナルフォトグラフィを中心に、コンピュータビジョンおよび機械学習の研究に従事。
Hiroaki Santo received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in information science from Osaka University (now The University of Osaka), Osaka, Japan, in 2018 and 2021, respectively. From 2021 to 2025, he was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Multimedia Engineering, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Osaka. Since October 2025, he has been an Associate Professor at the D3 Center, The University of Osaka. His research interests include computer vision and machine learning, with a focus on physics-based vision and computational photography.
