Mission
Hines Community Housing Project is dedicated to developing safe, stable housing supported by structured services and community partnerships to resore dignity and long-term stability for vulnerable Floridians, including veterans and seniors.
About Hines Community Housing Project
Hines Community Housing Project was founded in honor of Betty Ann Hines, whose years of service to the Jacksonville Housing Authority reflected a deep commitment to housing stability and community advocacy.
The organization was inspired by first-hand experience, walking alongside a loved one through serious illness and witnessing how quickly independence can change. That season revealed the critical importance of stable housing, structured support, and consistent advocacy during vulnerable transitions.
HCH is committed to developing dignified, stability-centered housing environments that integrate accountability, guided support, and a strong sense of belonging. Our mission is rooted in service, structure, and long-term community impact.
Hines Community Housing Project is currently in its development and infrastructure phase as we prepare for initial program launch.
