Session V: Harnessing Himalayan Indigenous Knowledge

The post-colonial era has created platforms for local and indigenous knowledge to prosper, providing economic opportunities for the local communities. HFF aims to be a platform where this indigenous knowledge of the Himalayan region can be promoted through different sectors, such as fighting climate change or spiritual healing. As a step towards this aim, this session hosts organizations or individuals working with local or indigenous knowledge in the Himalayan region to share their perspectives and goals.
