Day 2 Opening Session
Following the first day of the HFF 2024 session, the Opening Session will further set the tone for the forum for the day, featuring esteemed speakers who will illuminate the theme and objectives. They will also bring in insights from their experiences to highlight the major topics of discussion.

Hari Sharma is the former principal secretary to Prime Minister GP Koirala and Advisor to the first President of the Republic of Nepal. He has more than 15 years of teaching experience and has a deep interest in social movements, democratization and transformation studies. He is also a visiting faculty at Kathmandu University's Public Policy Program.
Amb Torun Dramdal
Ambassador of Norway to Nepal
Amb Torun Dramdal has been the Ambassador of Norway to Nepal since September 2021. She joined the Foreign Service in 1989 and has been involved as former Policy Director for Trade and Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and former State Secretary for Development Cooperation. She has been posted to Norway’s Delegation to NATO, Norwegian Embassy in Harare, and Norway’s Delegation to the OSCE.
