Rumi said “Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.” My running programs are rooted in our many connections to the natural world and highlight how various tribal peoples like the Tarahumara run rugged terrain with legendary speed and endurance, well into their twilight years. I also journey into the tribal life of people from around the globe to find out what they know about running that others don’t.
In a fun, communal atmosphere, we will discuss these topics as well as provide instruction on how to run free, relaxed, and centered, all while maintaining efficient and powerful movement. We will also do our part to keep Caballo Blanco’s message of love, hope and kórima alive by delighting in the simple act of self-propulsion, bounding along the undulating trails of the wilds much like the Indians did thousands of years ago.
