Strength training: Just as important as endurance training! HP Track and Football Coach, Coach Q is hosting summer strength training sessions from June 15 to July 31 at HP. Cost is $70 for up to 32 sessions - incredible value! See his flyer here and reach out to qwoulds@gmail.com with questions.

Fee: $30. Check made out to Highland Park Senior High.
Print and fill out this form, bring form and check to Coach Corbett in HS room 3304 before school, right after school, or during advisory.
End of Season Schedule:
Wednesday, February 18: "Looking Ahead" meeting. Required for all non-senior varsity skiers, encouraged for any non-senior JV skiers who want to make Varsity next year. Room 3304 at 3:05.
Tuesday, February 24: Ski Shack/Clean-Out and Uniform Return + Addie Corbett's signing ceremony. Required for all skiers. Meet in the gym at 3:15. Must have any rental skis and your uniform.
Tuesday, February 24: End-of-season banquet. Highland Park Senior High Cafeteria from 6 to 8 PM. RSVP Here (please RSVP by February 17).

Ski Rentals: If you want to rent school skis, your parent needs to fill out this form and submit payment by Tuesday, November 18
Maplelag: Paperwork will be available in Coach Boruff's room (3305) starting on Thursday. Flyer with basic trip details. Registration is tiered as follows until the bus fills:
Monday, Nov 17: Open to Varsity/JV and 3+ year skiers
Wednesday, Nov 19: Open to all others until bus fills
Parents: Thursday, December 4 - Parent and Guardian Potluck. Details here.
Rollerski/Skierg Return: If you rented school rollerskis or SkiErgs over the summer, they are due back to Coach Corbett's room (3304) on Monday, November 10 (the Monday before practice starts).

Transportation Waiver - Varsity/JV must have it on file. Turn in to Coach Will ASAP if you have not already.
Dev Squad needs this on file if you want to be picked up from a meet by your parents (and not ride the bus). Bring a printed version to practice or email completed and scanned version to Coach Will.

Thursday, October 23 - Preseason Interest Meeting (for students) - High School room 3304 at 3:05 PM.

Misc. Older Items from 2025-26 season
Varsity V1 Video:
Ramsey County/St. Paul Passes: The county has our roster and is processing passes. All HP skiers may ski at Battle Creek and any of the St. Paul Parks that groom for Nordic Skiing (Highland, Como, Phalen) while we wait for our passes. Ramsey County instructions: "If you are stopped and asked for a pass, tell them you are part of a High School team that has sent in their roster."
Varsity Rollerski Video Review - Late November: Skate
Volunteer Coaching with MYSL: Minnesota Youth Ski League is looking for volunteer coaches for their Sunday youth programs at the Highland 9 golf course. Read this doc for more info and to apply. It's a great volunteer opportunity and is highly encouraged for intermediate to advanced skiers.

Renting School Skis (don't fill out the form until you're sure you will be renting - new skiers are encouraged to wait until after the parent meeting to fill out the form)
Team Captains & Leadership Group: Some changes to team leadership this year. We will have a Leadership Group led by a few Captains. If you are interested in being a Captain or on Leadership Group, read this document and email Coach Will with your application by the deadline (November 2 for Captains, November 5 for LG).
