USMNT Player Watch is a browser extension published by High Desert Foundry. This Privacy Policy explains what information the extension handles, how that information is used, and whether it is shared.
USMNT Player Watch handles a limited amount of user activity and preference information necessary to provide its player-following and display features.
This information may include:
The identifiers of soccer players a user chooses to follow
The user’s selected refresh interval
The user’s selected default extension tab
The user’s compact-card display preference
A locally cached copy of the extension’s public player and fixture feed
The date and time when the public feed was last refreshed
USMNT Player Watch does not collect names, email addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers, payment information, health information, passwords, authentication credentials, personal communications, browsing history, website content, or precise location information.
Followed-player selections and display preferences are stored using Chrome’s extension storage features.
Some preferences may be stored through Chrome Sync so they can remain available through the user’s Chrome profile. Cached fixture information is stored locally in the extension for faster loading and temporary offline access.
High Desert Foundry does not maintain a separate server-side database containing users’ followed-player selections or display preferences.
The information is used only to provide the extension’s user-facing functionality, including:
Showing matches involving players the user follows
Remembering display and refresh preferences
Loading the extension more quickly
Displaying recently retrieved fixture information if the public feed is temporarily unavailable
The information is not used for advertising, behavioral profiling, generalized market research, credit decisions, or purposes unrelated to the extension.
USMNT Player Watch retrieves a read-only public JSON feed hosted through Google Apps Script.
The public feed contains soccer-related information such as:
Player names
Current clubs
Upcoming fixtures
UTC kickoff times
Broadcast-verification information
Available lineup and match-status information
The extension does not include followed-player selections or display preferences when requesting the public feed.
Requests to the feed are transmitted through HTTPS. Google may process standard technical information associated with providing its infrastructure services according to Google’s own privacy practices.
High Desert Foundry does not:
Sell user information
Rent user information
Share followed-player selections with advertisers
Use user information for personalized advertising
Transfer user information for unrelated purposes
Permit employees or contractors to review individual users’ followed-player selections
Information may be disclosed only when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security and integrity of the extension.
USMNT Player Watch does not include third-party advertising, behavioral analytics, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking.
High Desert Foundry may receive aggregate Chrome Web Store information made available to publishers, such as total installations, uninstallations, or ratings. This aggregate information does not identify an individual extension user.
Followed-player selections and preferences remain in Chrome extension storage until the user changes them, clears the extension’s stored information, or removes the extension, subject to Chrome’s storage and synchronization behavior.
The cached public fixture feed may be replaced during refreshes. Users may clear the cached fixture feed through the extension’s Settings page.
High Desert Foundry does not retain a separate copy of followed-player selections on its own servers.
USMNT Player Watch uses HTTPS when retrieving its public data feed.
The extension requests only the Chrome permissions needed for its stated functionality and does not request access to browsing history, website content, open tabs, passwords, or authentication information.
USMNT Player Watch uses information obtained through Chrome extension features only to provide and support its disclosed player-tracking functionality.
The extension’s use of user information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements. User information is not used for advertising, unrelated profiling, resale, or unrelated data-transfer purposes.
USMNT Player Watch does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
Because the extension does not request accounts, names, email addresses, birth dates, or other identifying information, High Desert Foundry does not knowingly maintain personal profiles of children.
High Desert Foundry may update this Privacy Policy when the extension’s features or data practices change.
Any material change to the information handled by the extension will be reflected in this policy, the Chrome Web Store disclosure, and, where required, an in-extension notice before the new practice begins.
