If you want to clear deep mud holes on your Can-Am Outlander without worrying about clogged cooling fins, choose High Lifter Radiator Relocation Kit; if you need a heavy-duty replacement core for a Caterpillar D3C-III or 933C Track Loader, choose Leyuncot Radiator 139-6887. These two products live in completely different worlds of machinery and application. One is an off-road modification kit designed to save your ATV's engine from debris while you push through the toughest terrain, and the other is a direct-performance replacement radiator built to keep massive industrial earth-moving equipment running hot and heavy under load. The confusion often comes from simply seeing the word "radiator" in both titles, but the intent behind each purchase is entirely distinct. You cannot swap these parts, nor should you try to apply one solution to the problem intended for the other.
• High Lifter Radiator Relocation Kit: Its biggest strength is moving the radiator out of harm's way using US-made 12-gauge steel to survive deep mud; its trade-off is that it only fits specific 2025-2026 Can-Am models and requires a LinQ® mounting system. This pick is for serious ATV riders who tackle aggressive off-road trails.
• Leyuncot Radiator 139-6887: Its biggest strength is a premium all-aluminum 4-row core design that offers rapid heat dissipation for heavy industrial engines; its trade-off is that it is a direct replacement part with no relocation features and fits only specific Caterpillar models. This pick is for equipment owners needing a reliable upgrade for CAT D-series tractors and loaders.
The High Lifter Radiator Relocation Kit is not just a bracket; it is a strategic engineering move for anyone who spends their weekends tearing up dirt trails. The primary function here is protection. By relocating the radiator, you are physically moving the most vulnerable component of your cooling system away from the path of flying rocks, deep ruts, and, most importantly, thick mud. That is a significant detail because 12-gauge steel is robust enough to withstand impacts that would bend lighter materials. When you are riding through a deep mud hole, the last thing you want is your radiator getting clogged with sludge or smashed by a hidden log. This kit solves that specific headache.
Who should buy this? If you own a Can-Am Outlander 850 or 1000R from the 2025 or 2026 model years, this is the tool you need to conquer the most aggressive terrain. It is designed specifically for riders who love "deep mud holes" and refuse to let a clogged radiator end their day. The kit integrates directly with the Can-Am LinQ® mounting system, which means it isn't a loose piece of metal hanging around; it uses the existing structural points of your vehicle for a secure fit. Furthermore, the package includes additional hose and all necessary hardware, so you aren't left guessing about what else you need to complete the install. The powder coat finish adds another layer of defense against the elements, ensuring the bracket itself doesn't rust out after a few seasons of abuse.

However, who should skip it? If you do not own a compatible 2025-2026 Can-Am Outlander, this kit is useless to you. It is not a universal adapter. Additionally, if your goal is simply to replace a broken radiator rather than protect an existing one, this is not the part you are looking for. It does not contain the cooling core itself; it only moves the existing one. If you are looking for a simple bolt-on fix that doesn't require any modifications to your hose routing or mounting brackets, you might find the installation process more involved than a standard replacement. But for the rider willing to put in the work to gain that extra clearance and durability, the investment pays off every time you ride deeper into the woods.
On the other side of the spectrum lies the Leyuncot Radiator 139-6887, a component built for the heavy lifting world of industrial construction and agriculture. This is not about mud clearing or trail riding; it is about maintaining engine temperature under extreme thermal loads. The core of this unit is made entirely of aluminum, a material choice that prioritizes weight reduction and corrosion resistance over the traditional copper-soldered units found in older designs. That large surface area is critical for dissipating heat rapidly and continuously. Whether you are operating a Caterpillar D3C-III, D4C-III, D5C-III tractor, or a 933C/939C Track Loader, keeping the engine cool is non-negotiable. A failure here means downtime, which costs thousands of dollars.
This product is ideal for fleet managers, independent contractors, or DIY mechanics working on CAT equipment powered by the 3046 engine. The compatibility list is precise: it fits specific Caterpillar models and replaces part numbers 139-6887, 187-8392, CA1396887, and CA1878392. The inlet diameter of 1.77 inches and outlet diameter of 1.97 inches must match your existing plumbing perfectly. The advantage of this aluminum construction is twofold: it is lighter than copper alternatives, making handling easier during installation, and it is highly resistant to corrosion, which extends the service life even in harsh job-site environments where chemicals and moisture are common. It is a direct performance upgrade or replacement, not a modification kit.
You should skip this item if you are looking for an aftermarket modification to change the position of your radiator or if you are working on a vehicle outside the specified Caterpillar lineup. It is also important to note that professional installation is recommended. While the return policy is hassle-free, the complexity of installing a heavy industrial radiator on a track loader or tractor suggests that precision is key. If you are trying to fit this into a smaller vehicle or a different brand of machinery, it will not work. The focus here is strictly on reliability and thermal efficiency for heavy machinery that runs hard every single day.
• Best for deep mud protection → High Lifter Radiator Relocation Kit. If your priority is preventing debris from clogging your cooling system while riding through tough terrain, the relocation strategy of the High Lifter kit is the only logical choice.
• Best for heavy industrial cooling → Leyuncot Radiator 139-6887. If you need a high-efficiency 4-row aluminum core to manage heat in a CAT D-series tractor or loader, this replacement part is engineered for that specific thermal demand.

• Best for thermal efficiency and weight savings → Leyuncot Radiator 139-6887. The all-aluminum 4-row core offers superior heat dissipation per pound compared to older designs, crucial for continuous operation of heavy engines.
• Best for Can-Am Outlander owners (2025-2026) → High Lifter Radiator Relocation Kit. Compatibility is absolute; this kit is custom-molded for the LinQ® system and specific frame geometry of these ATVs.
• Best for Caterpillar 3046 Engine owners → Leyuncot Radiator 139-6887. This is a direct fit for D3C-III, D4C-III, D5C-III, and 933C/939C models, replacing exact OEM part numbers.
• Best for ease of integration with existing mounts → High Lifter Radiator Relocation Kit. It utilizes the factory LinQ® system, requiring minimal deviation from stock mounting points beyond the relocation brackets.
• Best for long-term corrosion resistance in wet environments → Leyuncot Radiator 139-6887. Aluminum naturally resists rust better than steel, making it a strong candidate for equipment used in muddy or chemically exposed job sites.
I recommend choosing the High Lifter Radiator Relocation Kit if your life involves getting stuck in the mud and you want to ensure your Can-Am keeps running when others break down. The peace of mind that comes from knowing your radiator is moved out of the danger zone is invaluable for anyone who treats their ATV as a primary tool for adventure. However, if you are managing a fleet of construction equipment or maintaining a CAT tractor, the Leyuncot Radiator 139-6887 is the undeniable winner due to its specialized 4-row aluminum core designed for high-output industrial engines. For van life enthusiasts who might be converting an ATV for utility hauling in remote areas, the High Lifter kit offers the necessary protection to keep your cooling system clean when you are far from help. Both are excellent tools for their specific jobs, but mixing them up would be a disaster.
Older versions may have different mounting points or hose lengths.
Likely not, unless your truck shares the exact same 3046 engine architecture and mounting dimensions. It is strictly listed for CAT D3C-III, D4C-III, D5C-III, and 933C/939C machines.
No, it is a relocation kit only. It includes brackets, hoses, and hardware to move your existing radiator, but you must supply the original cooling core.
