Club Locarno and Ocean Racing Academy clubs came together to get acquainted and race with R18 catamarans in short umpired races in the inaugural High Performance Sailing Regatta. Each club was represented by 3 teams of their most accomplished sailors. This event is to find high performance sailing talents in BC sailing clubs.

Race format

• Up to 20 races per event
• 4 races per hour
• short speed fleet race (5-12min.)
• many races per club/sailor
• umpired fleet racing
• boat change on the water
• a fleet of identical R18 catamarans
