If you want full-size, wired listening for a computer, choose HIFIMAN SUNDARA Over-Ear Full-Size; if you need compact in-ear isolation for a computer, choose KZ ZAS Pro 7BA+1DD. The key difference is how you want to wear and use them: Sundara is an over-ear planar headphone, while ZAS Pro is a wired in-ear monitor with a hybrid driver setup. Neither is a Bluetooth headset, and neither lists a built-in microphone.

• HIFIMAN SUNDARA Over-Ear Full-Size: Its planar magnetic driver, 6 Hz to 75 kHz frequency range, and full-size over-ear design suit focused listening. The trade-off is a wired, open-ended setup with no listed noise control or microphone.
• KZ ZAS Pro 7BA+1DD: Seven balanced armature drivers and one dynamic driver are paired with sound isolation rated up to 37 dB. The trade-off is an in-ear fit that may not suit listeners who prefer full-size headphones.
• Choose Sundara for a full-size wired headphone and a metal headband with a weight-spreading strap.
• Choose ZAS Pro for a lightweight, portable wired monitor with an over-ear cable and detachable cable design.
• Neither is a wireless option for multipoint kids headphones for computer, ANC headphones for computer, or the best with microphone Bluetooth headset for computer.
Sundara is the pick for someone who wants an over-ear headphone for focused listening at a desk, with a planar magnetic driver at its center. HIFIMAN describes its diaphragm as 80% thinner than the HE400 series and connects that construction with a wider frequency response and faster, more detailed sound. The listed range is 6 Hz to 75 kHz, with 32-ohm impedance and 94 dB sensitivity.
How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
For computer use, the most important practical detail is that Sundara is wired and uses a 3.5 mm jack. That makes it a straightforward candidate when the computer or connected equipment has a compatible headphone connection, but there is no wireless connection for moving freely around a room. It is an over-ear model, and its hybrid headband includes a strap intended to spread weight. The all-metal headband and 3.5 mm headphone connector are also design details aimed at durability.
The drawback is equally clear: the listed noise control is none, and no microphone is specified. I would choose Sundara for listening sessions where a full-size fit and its planar-driver design matter more than isolation or call features. Skip it if you need wireless listening, in-ear portability, noise isolation, or a built-in mic.
ZAS Pro is an in-ear monitor built around a hybrid driver arrangement: one 10 mm dynamic driver and seven balanced armature drivers. Its product details describe forward mids, clear highs, and deep bass, while the three-way electronic crossover is intended to coordinate the frequency bands. The figures listed include 41-ohm impedance, 118 dB sensitivity, and a 40 kHz frequency response.
Its most notable everyday feature is sound isolation, listed as blocking up to 37 dB of ambient noise. That makes the design relevant for a noisy work area, travel, recording, or other situations where passive isolation is useful. The earphones are wired through a 3.5 mm jack, and their cable wraps over the ears to help keep them in place. The product information also describes the cable as detachable and the parts as serviceable, which may matter to someone who prefers a repairable in-ear setup.
The trade-off is the fit: these are buds worn in the ear, not full-size headphones resting around it. Although isolation is specified, active noise cancellation is not. A microphone and wireless connectivity are not listed either. Skip ZAS Pro if you dislike in-ear monitors or specifically need Bluetooth, active noise cancellation, or a microphone.
• Best for a full-size over-ear fit → HIFIMAN SUNDARA Over-Ear Full-Size. Its over-ear placement and weight-spreading strap make its design distinct from the compact in-ear KZ.
• Best for a planar magnetic driver → HIFIMAN SUNDARA Over-Ear Full-Size. Its planar driver and thin diaphragm design are central to its specification.
• Best for a multi-driver hybrid arrangement → KZ ZAS Pro 7BA+1DD. It combines one dynamic driver with seven balanced armature drivers and a three-way crossover.
• Best for portability and a cable that stays secured over the ear → KZ ZAS Pro 7BA+1DD. Its in-ear form and wireform cable are designed for a low-profile fit.
• Best for a metal headband construction → HIFIMAN SUNDARA Over-Ear Full-Size. Its all-metal headband is a specific durability feature, though the headphone remains wired.
• Best for a wireless computer setup → Neither. Both use a 3.5 mm wired connection, and neither lists Bluetooth or multipoint connectivity.
• Best for computer calls with a built-in mic → Neither. No microphone is specified for either model, so look for a headset that explicitly includes one.
Buying Considerations
First, check how you plan to connect the headphones. Both models use a 3.5 mm jack, so the computer or audio equipment needs a compatible connection. If your intended setup relies on a different connection, these specifications do not indicate that either model includes wireless connectivity or another connection type.
Next, decide whether you want an over-ear headphone or an in-ear monitor. Sundara’s full-size design and weight-spreading strap may appeal if you prefer a headband-style fit for desk listening. ZAS Pro’s small in-ear form and over-ear cable routing may be more convenient when portability or a secure fit is the priority. Fit preference is personal, so the driver specifications alone cannot determine which style will feel better to you.
Noise handling is another dividing line. ZAS Pro lists sound isolation, while Sundara lists no noise control. That does not make ZAS Pro an ANC model: the data describes isolation, not active noise cancellation. If you are specifically searching for ANC headphones for computer, neither listing establishes that feature.
Finally, keep calls and family use in mind. Neither product lists a microphone, Bluetooth, or multipoint pairing. That means neither fits the common request for multipoint kids headphones for computer or the best with microphone Bluetooth headset for computer. For those needs, prioritize a model whose specifications explicitly confirm the microphone and wireless features you require.
My Verdict
Both are wired and use a 3.5 mm jack, so either may suit a computer with a compatible connection. Sundara is full-size and over-ear; ZAS Pro is an in-ear monitor with listed sound isolation.
Neither product’s listed connectivity includes Bluetooth or multipoint. Both are wired, so choose a different type of headset if wireless pairing is essential.
Neither listing specifies active noise cancellation. ZAS Pro does list sound isolation of up to 37 dB, while Sundara lists no noise control.
A built-in microphone is not listed for either model. If calls are a central use, look for a headset that explicitly specifies a microphone and the connection features you need.
