Welcome to my personal website!
I am a senior researcher in the Division for Environmental, Resource and Innovation Economics at the Research Department at Statistics Norway (SSB).
My research focuses on analyzing the role of public policy by employing both theoretical framework and numerical simulation models. I investigate how to design public policy by examining the economic efficiency and distributional impacts across regions and among households differentiated by various socio-economic characteristics, such as income, residence area (urban vs. rural), or age. My research focuses on environmental/energy economics and international trade.
Before joining Statistics Norway, I was a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich and University of Ottawa. I earned a Ph.D. in Mineral and Energy Economics and a Master's degree in Engineering and Technology Management at Colorado School of Mines, and also hold a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Engineering from Tohoku University.
