HideIt Pro ("the App") is developed and operated by Aether Tech ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.
We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to external servers.
All vault data—including hidden photos, videos, files, encrypted notes, passwords, and recovery credentials—is stored exclusively on your device's local storage.
We do not have access to your private content at any time.
The App requests the following Android permissions solely to provide its features:
Permissions: READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Used to:
Import files into the secure vault
Encrypt and store private files
Restore hidden files back to your device
Used to:
Capture photos directly into the secure vault using the in-app camera feature.
Used to:
Display advertisements through Google AdMob.
Check network availability.
Used exclusively by the App Lock feature to detect when protected apps are opened.
This information is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Used by the App Lock feature to display the lock screen when a protected app is launched.
Used to keep the App Lock monitoring service running reliably in the background.
Allows the App Lock service to automatically restart after your device reboots if App Lock was previously enabled.
Required to display the list of installed applications so you can choose which apps to protect using the App Lock feature.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
AdMob may collect and process information such as:
Advertising ID
IP Address
Device information
General usage information
This information may be used to provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements.

You can opt out of personalized advertising from your device by navigating to:
Settings → Google → Ads
Files stored inside HideIt Pro are protected using AES encryption and stored in the App's private internal storage.
Your encrypted files:
Cannot be accessed by other applications.
Are not indexed by the device gallery.
Never leave your device.
We do not store encryption keys on any server.
HideIt Pro includes a private browser.
The following information is stored locally on your device only:
Browsing history
Bookmarks
Downloads
When visiting third-party websites through the browser, those websites may collect information according to their own privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.
HideIt Pro is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Because all vault data is stored locally on your device:
Uninstalling the App
Clearing the App's storage/data
will permanently delete:
Hidden files
Photos
Videos
Notes
Passwords
Browser data
App settings
We cannot recover deleted data because no copies are stored on our servers.
We recommend restoring important files before uninstalling the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be reflected within the App with an updated "Last Updated" date.
Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
