@Paul Newcome When I hide the column , of course any person ( editor , viewer ) cannot see the formula since they can't see the column . But as @Jose da Silva suggested , I created an additionnal column just to retreive data from the column with the actual formula .

Have the secret formula in a column that you hide and the visible column just references that cell's answer. Its still "safe" because if you export to Excel, it doesn't export the formula - only the value. So actually its entirely hidden - from everyone except for other Admin.

We would really love to be able to hide groups as well. The solution offered is fine if it is only one board, but we work with all our onboarding clients with taskboards and they get a bit daunting when they start. So it would be great if we can hide a group with tasks that are not due yet and add them to the list as we go, to keep the to-do list for our clients short & sweet.

would be great to have an automation for it too! ie if a status changes to done, dependency is moved to visible group or something nifty like that.

I'm making a customized symbol in Capture, but having problem hiding the pin name while showing the pin itself. What I'm trying to do is making a symbol similar to the VCC/CAPSYM that is included in OrCAD Capture, in which I have the option to display or to hide the name (VCC). For some reason, I'm not able to do this in my own symbol. If I change the pin type to POWER, I can hide the pin and the name at the same time, however, it's not what I want. I want to hide/show the pin Name instead of the pin itself.

I cannot for the life of me find any possible way to hide subitem columns. Is there a way to hide subitem columns and save them to a view in the same way the main item columns can be shown/hidden? Or is this functionality not available?

Unfortunately this does not solve our problem. The above suggested solution allows users to be able to turn the layer on and off in the app. We dont want users to even be able to see the layer in the map layers widget as an option. In WebAppBuilder there is an option to hide layers from the layer list widget but this does not seem like an option in Experience Builder.

The Product table would have a primary column that is the name of the product, along with an Order link that would allow multiple records (recording every order that involved that product) and it would not need a Customer link unless you desired it for some kind of prediction or analysis to see what different customers or customer types tend to buy. But even if you did that, I would hide that column in the Product table because it would be massive, and instead I would use formula columns to analyze the number of times the product has been ordered for each customer type, or something like that.

I've found a workaround to hide the content of Primary Filed in read-only view for my external clients.

The trick is to create a new base, and sync the table you want to share.

On the synced table in the new base, you'll get the same Primary Field.

BUT, for some reason, you can change the TYPE of this field.

By choosing "Date", for example, since me primary field is not a date, the Primary Field will now be EMPTY.

I just found this trick that now allows me to use shareable view & Interfaces in order to share records to my external clients without sharing the Primary Field (that contains unwanted information for my client)

As I wrote, there are any options for editing the style with SketchUp Free. You can hide the edges, though, by selecting them, then context clicking on one and choosing Hide or going over them with the Eraser tool while holding Shift.

I have a simple question. If there are two walls one above each other how can I hide the edge between the two elements?

I tried number of things: Tangent edges is not working in V6 because they are two separate objects. Boolean also cannot be used because the two walls are two different type but only the render is identical outside.

The purpose of being able to hide edges directly on display is to create quick views and drawings, by printing the display instead of having to duplicate edges or making 2d drawings. Especially ofr architects and urban planners.
