"I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times, I have been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed it. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."

🏆 Best Paper Award - 3rd BIM 2025
I am thrilled to announce that our paper, “BanglaMind: A Transformer-Based NLP Chatbot for Emotion and Suicide Risk Detection in Students Using Context-Aware Multilabel Classification,” received the Best Paper Award at the 3rd International Conference on Big Data, IoT and Machine Learning (BIM 2025).
This work introduces BanglaMind, an AI-powered mental health chatbot that leverages Bangla-BERT and transformer-based models to detect emotions, suicidal ideation, and intent from Bangla-language conversations with 97.38% accuracy. Built with a MERN stack interface, it provides real-time empathetic responses, suicide risk alerts, and access to mental health resources.
By combining cutting-edge NLP techniques with culturally aware design, this research marks a breakthrough in Bangla NLP and South Asian mental health technology, addressing a critical gap in student mental well-being..

🏆 Best Paper Award (1st Runner Up) - 3rd IEEE CS BDC Summer Symposium 2024
Alhamdulillah, I am delighted to share that our paper, “Comparison of TF-IDF with CountVectorizer for Sentiment Analysis from Bengali Text using Supervised Machine Learning,” has been recognized as the 1st Runner Up Best Paper at the 3rd IEEE CS BDC Summer Symposium 2024.
In this study, we investigated the performance of two popular feature extraction techniques—CountVectorizer and TF-IDF—applied to Bengali sentiment analysis, a challenging low-resource language domain. Using SVM and XGBoost classifiers, our experiments revealed that SVM with TF-IDF achieved the highest accuracy of 97.31%, outperforming CountVectorizer’s 95.95%. These findings highlight how TF-IDF better captures the linguistic richness and contextual nuances of Bengali text, reinforcing its suitability for scalable sentiment classification tasks.
