TU Serves: Intersection of Change (S2L2)
Join TU Serves as we address food apartheid in Baltimore by seeding, harvesting, & washing/packaging produce at nonprofit Intersection of Change. We will be a part of IoC's initiative "Strength to Love II" (S2L2).
S2L2 is "a program that operates an urban farm, provides workforce development called Thrive (for young adults ages 18-24), and serves citizens returning to the community from incarceration. The farm entails 14 greenhouses totaling 1.5 acres, addresses community food apartheid issues, and offers employment to community residents."
