Hung-Hao Chang is a Distinguished Professor and Vice Dean of the College of Bio-Resources and Agriculture at National Taiwan University (NTU), where he also recently served as Department Chair of Agricultural Economics. A Cornell University-trained agricultural economist, his research spans agricultural and public-policy evaluation, farm-household economics, environmental and natural-resource economics, food consumption, rural livelihoods and natural-disaster risk, transportation economics, and the economic analysis of competition law in the digital economy. He has authored more than 140 peer-reviewed articles—accumulating over 3,900 citations and an h-index of 34—in leading journals including the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, European Review of Agricultural Economics, Journal of Health Economics, World Development, Strategic Management Journal, and Journal of Transport Geography, among others. He has been consecutively recognized as a World Top 2% Scientist in Agricultural Economics and Policy by Stanford University (2023 and 2024) and received the National Agricultural Scientific Award from Taiwan’s Ministry of Agriculture in 2021. He has been named a Distinguished Professor at NTU since 2024 and holds the T. H. Lee Chair Professorship. He also provides extensive editorial leadership as Co-Editor of Food Policy and Associate Editor of Agribusiness: An International Journal and Asian Economic Journal, with past editorial roles at Agricultural Economics, Agricultural and Resource Economics Review, and Applied Economic Perspectives and Policy. He is the current President of the Taiwan Agricultural Economic Association and an Executive Board Member of the Asia Society of Agricultural Economics. He has supervised students and earned numerous thesis awards from major professional associations. In public service, he served as a full-time Commissioner of the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission (2015–2018, on leave from NTU) and currently serves as a Commissioner of the International Trade Commission under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs.
張宏浩現任台灣大學生農學院副院長和農業經濟系特聘教授,並曾擔任農業經濟學系系主任。張教授畢業於美國康乃爾大學應用經濟與管理系(原農業經濟學),他的研究領域涵蓋農業與公共政策評估、農家經濟學、環境與自然資源經濟學、食品消費、農村生計與天然災害風險、運輸經濟學,以及數位經濟下競爭法之經濟分析。至今已發表超過140篇同儕審查期刊論文,累積超過3,900次引用,h-index達34。其研究成果刊登於不同領域之國際頂尖學術期刊,包括 American Journal of Agricultural Economics、European Review of Agricultural Economics、Journal of Health Economics、World Development、Strategic Management Journal 與 Journal of Transport Geography 等。2023年與2024年,他連續獲 Stanford University 評選為「農業經濟與政策領域全球前2%科學家」,並於2021年榮獲農業部國家農業科學獎。自2024年起,他獲聘為臺灣大學特聘教授,並擔任李登輝講座教授。在學術服務方面,他長期投入國際學術期刊編務工作,現任 Food Policy 共同主編,以及 Agribusiness: An International Journal 與 Asian Economic Journal 副主編。過去亦曾擔任 Agricultural Economics、Applied Economic Perspectives and Policy副編輯,Agricultural and Resource Economics Review總編輯。他現擔任亞洲農業經濟學會理事以及臺灣農村經濟學會理事長。此外,他指導之研究生亦多次獲得國內重要學術學會之論文獎項。在公共服務方面,張教授曾於2015年至2018年間借調擔任公平交易委員會專任委員,現任經濟部國際貿易委員會委員。
