This hands-on training will be conducted by Captains Jay Bonnifield and John Tanaka from West Coast Training and Captain Nicholas Papa from Fireside Training, LLC. These recognized and notable instructors have partnered to provide training on engine company size-up, hose selection, estimating the hose line stretch, line placement, and all things fire attack. Bunker gear and helmet are required for this hands-on training.
Elevator Rescue: Awareness Level Training

This lecture based training will be conducted by Michael Dragonetti from Dragon Rescue Management who is a leader in the field of elevator emergencies and highly respected throughout the country. This is a valuable class tailored for the fire service not locally available in the State of Hawaiʻi. Class will consist of lectures and hands on training, and appropriate classroom attire is required.
