"Good #####, this is Dr. Cherry, today we are bringing in subject number #####. Subject H.N. is contained in sector #####. The goal is to measure the decibels of the ringing and sounds that Subject H.N. produce. Today is currently [Redacted] with the time being [Redacted]. Dr. Teddy to transport the subject to test room ##### and help me conduct the tests. Dr. Shawn and Dr. Matt are on standby, one inside and one outside. In an upper viewing room stands Dr. Allie, Dr. Fiery, and Dr. Maxine. I have now placed my noise canceling headphones. Subject H.N. has been walked in by Dr. Teddy. It began to look around the testing room as it was led to the chair in front of me. I get the decibel reader in hand as I prepare to make the subject "speak".
[Dr. C]: Can you please open you mouth?
The subject has complied and the readings for the ringing hit 15 dB. The ringing cannot be picked up by my ears behind the headphones. I will now ask it to attempt to whisper.
[Dr. C]: [whisper] Can you try to whisper at this volume for me?
The subject has attempted to whisper, a static like sound is coming out from its mouth and speakers. The static has a reading of 70 dB. I can faintly hear it but it isn't noticeable. I shall now ask it to speak at a normal volume.
[Dr. C]: Can you try speaking? At this volume?
The subject looks a bit concerned and reluctantly speaks for less than 2 seconds before wincing. Mixes of EAS sounds, what sounds like different speeches from weather service announcements, and low volumes of weather sirens blare. The range went back and forth between 105dB and 120dB. I am now going to attempt to make it yell.
[Dr. C]: Can you raise your voice? Yell? Scream?
The subject is refusing to do as asked. It is shaking its head and is trying to "speak" as the reader shows the same readings as before.
Dr. Teddy has decided to try to [Redacted] in hopes to make it yell. He will begin to try to [Redacted] now.
Dr. Teddy attempted to [Redacted] at the subject, but it seems to have worked but not in our favor. After being [Redacted] at, the subject has towered over Dr. T and Began to yell. It flinched at its own yelling and brought its hands up to its ears. It screamed in reaction to the pain of the sound and is attempting to cover its ears. Its attempts are futile as it began to blare the sounds into its ears by the speakers on its palms. Its yelling louder now as its ears are now visibly bleeding. It turns toward Dr. T and takes off the headphones and places its hands against Dr. T's ears and begins to yell. The sounds are the same mix from when its speaking but very loud compared to volume. It is painfully loud despite the noise canceling headphones and the distance I have put between me and the subject. When it first began to yell the readings were around 150dB, when attempting to cover ears it was around 155-160dBs, and as of now that it is angered and attacking, the readings are reaching 170dBs. Dr. T is now [Redacted] on the floor, [Redacted], and now [Redacted]. I just signaled the viewing room to send an alert to the medical wing. Dr. Matt alerted Dr. Shawn to open the testing room doors as he grabs Dr. Teddy's body. Now that we're out, I sent the signal to Dr. A to start filling the room with sleeping gas. Dr. Sammy, Dr. Pxrple, and Dr. Nice arrive on the scene, Dr. P stays to treat the knocked out subject while the other two take Dr. T to the medical wing with the help of Dr. Matt. As Dr. P tends to the subject's ruptured eardrums, Dr. Anja has come to transport the subject back to its containment in sector #####. I can conclude this test log with the date and time being [Redacted]."
-- No sound/open mouth//ringing 15dB
-- Speaking//EAS, weather service announcements, weather sirens 105-120dB
-- Yelling//EAS, weather service announcements, weather sirens 150-170+dB
-H.N. is no longer classified as passive and is now passive-aggressive
-Scientists are no longer allowed to be in the testing room with the subject but must do so in a separate room/over the speaker unless needed to be nearby.
