From the days when we routinely made these, and on camping trips put the dry ingredients in one Ziploc and added the wet ingredients on site.
3 eggs
3 tbsp oil
3 cups buttermilk
3 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp baking soda
Beat eggs until light
Add oil and buttermilk
Stir in baking soda and baking powder
Stir in flour, do not beat.
Up to one quart fruit may be added.
Obvious note: the recipe may be cut into thirds, and we probably got it from or adapted it from some recipe which used one cup of flour to one egg, one cup of buttermilk. This appears to be a standard ratio in buttermilk pancake recipes.
