This is another recipe from Grandma Joan the First.
1 1/2 c. dried apricots, ground
2 c. shredded coconut
2/3 c. confectioners sugar
Sweetened condensed milk.
Mix apricots and coconut. Stir in milk until texture is right and mix well. Roll in sugar. Let stand until firm.
Note -- when I made these, I added as much milk as I could and still have them hold a shape when I rolled them. They did then become firmer as they stood. They tasted just like hers, so I must have done it right.
