This Privacy Policy explains what information Hexa Cosmic ("the App") collects, how it is used, and your choices. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information You Provide:
- Player Name (Nickname): If you choose to submit a score to the Online Leaderboard, you may enter a display name of your choosing. You are not required to use your real name.
Information Collected Automatically:
- Randomly generated Device ID — used to identify your leaderboard entry so your score can be updated (shared with Firebase/Google)
- Game score, mode, and timestamp — used to display on the online leaderboard (shared with Firebase/Google)
- Advertising ID — used to show and measure ads (shared with Google AdMob)
- Device information, approximate IP-based location, app interactions — used for ad serving, fraud prevention, analytics (shared with Google AdMob)
The Device ID is generated randomly on your device and is NOT linked to your real identity, name, email, or phone number.
We do not collect: your real name, email address, phone number, precise GPS location, contacts, photos, or any government identification.
2. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Google AdMob:
We use Google AdMob to display rewarded video advertisements. AdMob may collect the Advertising ID, device information, and IP address to serve relevant ads and prevent fraud. Learn more at Google's Advertising Privacy & Terms: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Firebase Realtime Database:
We use Firebase (a Google service) to store and display the online leaderboard. Only your chosen nickname, score, and an anonymous Device ID are stored. See Firebase's Privacy Policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
- To operate the online leaderboard feature
- To display advertisements that support free gameplay
- To improve app stability and performance
4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Leaderboard data is stored on Google Firebase servers with industry-standard security rules restricting write access to properly formatted score submissions. Data transmitted to Firebase and AdMob is encrypted in transit (TLS).
5. DATA DELETION
Since your leaderboard entry is tied only to an anonymous Device ID (not your personal identity), you may request deletion of your leaderboard entry at any time by contacting us at the email below and providing your in-game nickname and approximate score. We will remove the corresponding entry within a reasonable timeframe.
Uninstalling the App will stop all local data collection immediately. Locally stored game progress (saved on your device only) is deleted automatically when the App is uninstalled.
6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Hexa Cosmic is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights regarding your leaderboard entry, contact us using the details below.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
