The Empowerment Plan takes a holistic approach to supporting disadvantaged women in Vietnam by offering not only financial aid, vocational training, and business skills, but also psychological therapy and a strong support network—helping them build resilience and sustainable futures
The Community Engagement Program, inspired by TEP and TFC, offers short-term, hands-on experiences for travelers, students, and partners to tackle Vietnam’s social and environmental issues. Through camps and retreats, participants gain skills, connect locally, and drive impact
Teach for Change program aims to reduce educational disparities between rural and urban youth in Vietnam.
Catalyst for Change (C4C) is Vietnam’s first and only organization founded by single mothers, for single mothers. We don’t just serve this community—we are this community
For over a decade, we’ve built a resilient, nationwide network of nearly 300,000 women, offering pathways to healing, sisterhood, and self-reliance.
In a country where single motherhood is still met with silence or shame, C4C created a hybrid model that merges impact and income. With limited public and donor support, we sustain our mission through women-led social enterprises—English classes, cultural events, handmade goods, and healing services—all driven by empowered mothers. Every profit is reinvested into our core programs:
Emergency aid for families in crisis
Mental health support and group therapy
Vocational training in food, crafts, and wellness
Self-help groups to rebuild confidence and community
Through this tour, visitors—especially women and socially conscious travelers—step into a Vietnam that no museum or travel agency can offer.
Home-cooked meals in private kitchens
Hands-on workshops in traditional crafts and healing arts
Cultural reflections through films, heritage visits, and story circles
Journaling and mentoring sessions that create deep, personal connection
dignified jobs, flexible income, restored confidence
a deeper understanding of Vietnam through lived stories
reducing stigma, reshaping narratives, building solidarity
