Are YOU ready to embark on the Heritage Journey for Youth?
Cultural heritage is a reminder of the diversity of our communities that we live in, as well as of co-existence and mutual respect. Especially during difficult times it's essential not to lose sight of our unity. For this reason, heritage in all its forms must be preserved, enhanced and handed on to future generations as a record of human experience and aspirations, connecting people with the legacy of their past, so as to foster creativity in all its diversity and to inspire genuine dialogue among cultures.
Europe is primarily shaped by our connections, as individuals and communities, beyond bias and borders, languages and time and our identity is to be maintained and enhanced.
Created by 42 youngsters and 6 Youth NGOs from 6 European countries, the HERITAGE JOURNEY FOR YOUTH MUSEUM aims to empower young people to better appreciate their cultural heritage, interact with it, and through it, participate actively in society. The aim is also to increase their access to cultural heritage, including by digital means, and to activate their creativity when it comes to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage.

Our shared cultural heritage is to be understood, cherished and celebrated. Yet cultural heritage is not only a legacy from the past. It also helps us forge the way ahead and design our future.
