If you want professional-grade sound isolation and a flexible cable for DJ mixing on the Nintendo Switch, choose Hercules HDP DJ45; if you need long-lasting wireless freedom with active noise cancellation for travel or workouts, choose INFURTURE H1.
• Hercules HDP DJ45: Its greatest strength is the robust closed-back design that offers superior sound isolation and a spiral cable that extends from 1 to 2 meters, perfect for mobile DJs. The trade-off is that it is wired-only, tethering you to your audio source and limiting movement during casual gaming sessions. This pick is strictly for serious audio work and performance.
• INFURTURE H1: It shines with its Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and an impressive 40-hour battery life, making it ideal for marathon listening sessions without cables. The downside is the reliance on charging and the fact that it lacks the specific one-ear monitoring rotation found in pro DJ gear. This pick is for commuters, travelers, and anyone wanting comfortable true wireless earbuds for switch or general use without being plugged in.
The Hercules HDP DJ45 is built for a very specific purpose: it is a dedicated tool for the performer. When you look at the specifications, the design philosophy is clear. These are over-ear headphones featuring a circumaural design where the large ear cushions encircle your ears completely. This isn't just about comfort; it is a functional engineering choice to create optimal sound isolation. By sealing out the ambient noise of a crowded room or a loud stage, the listener can focus entirely on the mix. If you are using these for the Nintendo Switch, especially for a setup that requires spatial audio open ear earbuds for switch scenarios where you need to hear the game but block out distractions, this closed-back approach provides a level of separation that many consumer headphones simply cannot match.
The physical build supports the demands of a working DJ. The unit features pivoting earpieces that allow you to rotate one side for quick one-ear monitoring while keeping the other ear protected. This is a critical feature for checking cues without losing the main mix. The headband itself includes soft padding, and the earpieces rest against your head rather than pressing down directly on the cartilage, which helps during long sets. The weight of the unit is 0.6 kg, which is substantial but necessary given the metal and plastic enclosure materials used to ensure durability. You get a classic black finish that looks professional and withstands the rigors of transport.

However, there is a significant limitation that dictates who should buy this product. It is a wired device. There is no Bluetooth capability here. Instead, it relies on a single-sided spiral cable that adjusts from 3.3 feet up to 6.6 feet (2 meters). This length flexibility is a major plus for a DJ moving around a booth, allowing the cable to extend as needed without tangling or pulling. But for the average gamer or casual listener, being tethered by a 2-meter cord can be restrictive. If you value sweat resistance on ear headphones for switch or similar activities where you might move vigorously, the lack of wireless capability means you have to manage the cable carefully. Furthermore, the impedance is 60 ohms, meaning it requires a decent amount of power to drive effectively, though it works with standard audio sources. You should skip this model if you need a simple plug-and-play solution for a handheld console without dealing with cables, or if you prioritize portability over isolation.
The INFURTURE H1 takes a completely different approach, focusing on modern convenience and versatility. As a Bluetooth 5.4 headset, it prioritizes wireless freedom above all else. The primary advantage here is the battery life. With an average playtime of 40 hours, this device is designed for people who do not want to charge their headphones every night. Whether you are commuting, traveling, or just wearing them all day at the office, the ability to go weeks between charges is a game-changer. The charging time is listed at 5 hours, which is a reasonable window to expect before you get back to full power.
Comfort is another major selling point for this model. The ear placement is over-ear with rounded earpiece shapes covered in faux leather. This material choice suggests a soft touch against the skin, aiming to reduce fatigue during extended wear. The design is lightweight, which is essential for those looking for comfortable true wireless earbuds for switch or general daily use. Unlike the rigid, industrial feel of the Hercules, the INFURTURE feels more like a lifestyle accessory. It supports active noise cancellation, a feature that actively suppresses background noise rather than just blocking it physically. This makes it excellent for environments where silence is hard to come by, such as airplanes, busy trains, or noisy offices.
The connectivity options are broader in a consumer sense. It features Bluetooth 5.4 technology with a range of up to 10 meters, giving you plenty of room to move away from your phone or console without dropping the connection. It also includes a 3.5 mm jack option for wired use if the battery runs dry or if you prefer a direct connection for low latency. The controls are handled via push buttons for media management, keeping things simple. However, you must consider the trade-offs. While it has dynamic drivers and a frequency range of 20Hz to 20,000Hz, it does not offer the specific mechanical rotation of ear cups found in the Hercules. If you need to monitor one side of your audio while hearing the environment, the H1 does not have that specific pivot mechanism. It is best suited for users who want high-quality stereo sound, deep bass, and the convenience of not having wires, but who do not need professional-grade DJ mixing tools.
• Best for Sound Isolation: Hercules HDP DJ45 wins hands down due to its closed-back circumaural design, which physically blocks out external noise better than any active cancellation system.
• Best for Battery Life: INFURTURE H1 dominates with a 40-hour playtime, whereas the Hercules has no battery since it is powered entirely by the connected device.
• Best for Mobility: INFURTURE H1 is the clear winner for users who want to move freely without being tethered by a 2-meter cable.
• Best for One-Ear Monitoring: Hercules HDP DJ45 is the only choice here, thanks to its rotating earpieces that allow for precise cueing.
• Best for Wireless Connectivity: INFURTURE H1 uses Bluetooth 5.4, offering a stable connection up to 10 meters, while the Hercules is strictly wired.
• Best for Durability in Performance: Hercules HDP DJ45 features a metal and plastic construction designed for the rough handling of a DJ booth.
• Best Value for Casual Use: INFURTURE H1 offers more features like active noise cancellation and wireless streaming for a typical consumer experience.
• Best for Low Latency Wired Gaming: Hercules HDP DJ45 provides a direct analog signal with no compression or Bluetooth delay, ideal for competitive timing.
I would choose the Hercules HDP DJ45 if my goal was specifically to use the device for mixing or playing games where I needed absolute sound isolation and a reliable wired connection. The ability to rotate the ear cup and the sheer quality of the passive isolation make it a superior tool for focused listening. However, for the vast majority of users, especially those looking for spatial audio open ear earbuds for switch scenarios or just a comfortable pair of headphones for travel, I recommend the INFURTURE H1. Its wireless nature, combined with the 40-hour battery life and active noise cancellation, makes it the more practical choice for everyday life. If you are tired of managing cords and want a pair of sweat resistant on ear headphones for switch that you can just put on and forget, the INFURTURE H1 is the smarter investment.
