Our Next Events will be:
📌August 15th:
We will be having our very first meeting in our "new home" at Holliday Park (6363 Spring Mill Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46260) on September 1st. Since some of our members have never been to Holliday Park, we thought it might be fun to just do a little meet-up at the Nature Center on Saturday, August 15th, at 11:00 am. We could check out the Nature Center (where our meetings and workshops will be held) and if everyone brings a sack lunch, we can sit under one of the pergolas and visit. Also, if anyone wants to, we could walk on some of the trails as well.

We will gather at 6:00 pm for herbal snacks with the meeting beginning at 6:15 pm. And as always, if you plan to bring a snack, please contact Shirley Ulicni, magic_46060@yahoo.com or 317-258-8683.
We hope that you visit us at our next event. Sharing our love of anything herbal is what we do best. Check the calendar tab to see what we are up to next month. We typically meet each month. We normally gather around 6:00 pm for refreshments and to socialize. Our programs begin at 6:15 pm and our business meeting will be ~7:15-8:00 p.m. However, sometimes we take garden tours in place of meetings so be sure to check the calendar on the website for meeting dates and locations.
The Central Indiana Unit’s mission is to promote the knowledge, use, and delight of herbs through educational programs, research, and sharing the experience of our members with the community. We examine all elements of herbalism, though the interests of many members are primarily culinary and growing herbs. We welcome gardeners with all types of herbal interests and levels of gardening skills. We work towards the Spring Symposium every year, with our focus on the Herb of the Year as our structural guideline. The Herb of the Year 2027 is Flax, Linum usitatissimum!
