I am Sanjeewa P. Herath - a research engineer with 8+ years experience in 3GPP technologies such as 5G NR/6G and standardization activities. I have filed 30+ patent applications with some standard essential patents. I have also published 30+ articles and received over 1000 citations. I serve as an editor for IEEE Wireless Communication letters since Nov. 2022. 

I completed my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at McGill University with Prof. Tho Le-Ngoc, M.Eng. (Thesis) in Telecommunications from Asian Institute of Technology and B.Sc. (Eng.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
