Sugil Abbas

I am Sugil Abbas, a 27 years old para badminton player. I hail from a lower middle class family in Erode, Tamilnadu, India. With the support of well wishers, I am undergoing badminton coaching in Gopichand's academy in Hyderabad.

My ambition is to win medal for India in the Olympics. My current world ranking (Singles 16) needs to be maintained to be eligible for the 2020 Olympics. To retain the ranking, I need to play at least 7 international tournaments (out of 13 mentioned at the end of this page) before the Olympics. I am looking for financial support for the travel, food and accommodation expenses.

Immediate need: Around 40,000 for flight tickets by 7th/Oct/2018 - to participate in Australian para badminton open 19th Nov 2018.
