✧ Emmett is the younger twin ( by 5 minutes )

✧ he was his father's son, an "all-american" boy :  athletic, charming, funny, gentlemanly  &  a natural at hunting

✧ he loves music  &  strumming his guitar

✧ when his father disappeared when they were 13, their lives turned upside down.  Marley ( their mother ) lost all semblance of herself, the love of her life went out to hunt a monster with his buddy  &  he never returned. yet, his friend did

✧ Daisy ended up taking care of their mother whenever she wasn't at school  &  Emmett had the heavy burden of keeping a roof over their heads while their mother slowly got sicker, in an addition to her broken heart, Marley was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer

✧ they both made a promise to her never to hunt again while she was still alive because she couldn't take losing either of her babies but Emmett needed to make money  &  this was something he was good at, both of the siblings were actually. the two began to do bounties,  &  while Emmett took the most jobs, Daisy also helped  &  would sometimes accompany him

✧ he quit the football  &  soccer teams, barely making the grades to pass but his teachers took pity on the boy who has basically lost both of his parents. he turned to alcohol, cigarettes, marijuana,  &  sleeping with other people to cope with everything, to feel like he has some semblance of control over his life 

✧ when he graduated from high school  &  turned 18, he enlisted in the military. serving 6 years as a sniper before he was honorably discharged after his mother died when the twins were 24

✧ when he came back home, the twins packed up whatever they deemed important  &  left their small town. they eventually settled down in Seattle where they opened up Marley's, a bar dedicated to helping hunters out  &  getting hunting jobs for an extra flow of cash
