Helios is a sci-fi narrative strategy game about space missions, manual landings, resource management, crew decisions, and campaign progression.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Helios may collect, how it is used, how it may be processed by service providers, and how users can request deletion of their data.
Helios may ask the user to enter:
a commander name;
an email address.
The commander name and email address are used to create an in-game profile and identify the player inside the game. The email address is not verified, and the user may enter a real or fictional email address.
Helios may also collect or store gameplay-related information, including:
selected missions;
mission progress;
mission results and ratings;
unlocked missions or campaigns;
resource-management decisions;
crew decisions;
other actions performed inside the game.
The commander name and email address entered in Helios are not sent to Firebase Analytics.
Helios uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used and to improve gameplay, reliability, and the user experience.
Firebase Analytics may automatically collect or process information such as:
app launches and sessions;
user engagement;
screen views;
mission starts and mission completions;
donation-screen openings;
interactions with app features;
device type and operating system;
app version and language;
app instance, device, or similar identifiers;
approximate location derived from the device’s IP address;
limited information about in-app purchase transactions.
This information is used for analytics and app improvement. It is not used by Helios to identify users by their real name or email address.
Analytics data is transmitted through an encrypted connection and is processed by Google in accordance with Google’s applicable privacy policies and terms.
We may use collected information to:
create and maintain the user’s in-game profile;
identify the user inside the game;
save mission and campaign progress;
restore access to missions or campaigns where applicable;
provide donations or other in-app purchase features;
understand how users interact with the app;
analyze mission completion and engagement;
improve gameplay, usability, stability, and performance;
detect technical problems, abuse, or fraudulent activity;
comply with legal obligations.
Donations and other in-app purchases are processed through Google Play.
Payment processing is subject to Google Play policies and Google’s privacy practices.
Helios does not receive or store:
full credit or debit card numbers;
bank account details;
card security codes;
other complete payment credentials.
Helios may receive limited purchase information required to confirm and manage a transaction, such as the purchased product, transaction status, purchase token, and purchase time.
We do not sell users’ personal information.
Limited information may be processed by service providers when necessary to:
operate and maintain the app;
provide Firebase Analytics;
process purchases through Google Play;
verify transactions;
maintain app security;
prevent abuse or fraud;
comply with legal requirements.
Google may process analytics and purchase-related information as a service provider for Helios.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information.
Data transmitted between the app and online services is sent using encrypted connections where supported.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Gameplay data, user identifiers, purchase records, and related information may be stored for as long as necessary to:
provide the app’s features;
maintain the user’s game profile;
restore purchases or access;
comply with financial, legal, or security obligations;
resolve disputes and prevent abuse.
Analytics information is retained according to the retention settings and policies applicable to Google Analytics for Firebase.
Some transaction or security records may be retained where required by law or for fraud-prevention purposes.
Users may request deletion of their in-game profile and associated data by contacting:

The request should include the commander name and the email address or identifier entered in Helios so that the related data can be located.
After verifying the request where necessary, we will delete or anonymize the associated data, except for information that must be retained for legal, financial, fraud-prevention, or security purposes.
Deleting the app from a device does not automatically submit a data-deletion request.
Helios is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.
If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Information may be processed or stored in countries other than the user’s country of residence.
Where required, service providers use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be changed accordingly.
Users should review this page periodically for updates.
