It was heaven on earth.
The center of technological and scientific advancements; not a corner of the city lacked a significant bit of history! Not to mention the state of the art MALLS and high fashion brands literally on every street! Oh, you can blindfold me and I’d still make my way to all of my favorite spots! And the creatures that are now budding in that area— absolutely delicious.

The Western Metropolis contains the City of Sprawl.
This region was once home to the largest city in the world, renowned for its advanced technology and towering skyscrapers. Tragically, it was also one of the first to succumb to catastrophe, becoming the site of countless recorded deaths across the land. Now, the city is overrun with a plethora of plant species never before seen, transforming the urban landscape into a wild, untamed environment. While the buildings still rise high into the sky, many remain unexplored, concealing valuable resources that could prove essential for survival in this new world.
Before the reveal of the world of HoE, this was where, assumably, all interactions between the HoECs had happened, excluding those that specifically occurred within the Sanctum, its' cities, or in a natural location which necessitates a non-urban setting.
Once the largest and most advanced city, this urban landscape is now overrun by aggressive, carnivorous plants and towering skyscrapers shrouded in thick vines, with streets nearly invisible beneath the dense foliage. Many buildings have crumbled into rubble, while some of the larger structures with underground levels are rumored to serve as breeding grounds for dangerous new plant species. Within this decaying metropolis lie important areas filled with remnants of cutting-edge technology, bustling malls, and modern amenities, with whispers that a certain vigilante trio's base may be hidden somewhere among the ruins—though that remains unconfirmed. It contains almost all locations a person might need, as long as it's not a place where a setting akin to a natural wonder is needed. However, the city is still perilous, as it increasingly becomes home to unfamiliar creatures that often emerge as the source of threats to any would-be explorers. Despite these risks, valuable resources are abound, including plant samples for medicinal use, salvageable technology, potential energy reserves, and everyday items like clothes and food, waiting to be uncovered.
