This region doesn't look too promising nowadays, but back then it was a bustling village with a community that lived off of fishing.
It's connected to several places for rest and recreation, and one could even use the underwater train to get to their destination. The people have gone and passed, the fish more relaxed than ever, yet I've heard the humid air that sticks to the skin remains the same after all these years of abandon. It gets you reminiscing about summers filled with laughter and the splashing of water from caught fish and people wading above the water, even if you haven't gone to this specific region before—doesn't it?

The Southwestern Isles contains the Marsh of Nabasa, and the Island of Ragsak.
This region was once home to a modest population, with its people making their living through fishing and farming along the coast. Life was simple and peaceful, with villages full of warm, humble homes. However, when the apocalypse struck, it was one of the first to fall, largely due to the isolation of its inhabitants and their lack of access to warnings from other regions. Now, those thriving villages are but a memory, replaced by the eerie presence of dense, humid air. Fog rolls in daily, seeming to drift from place to place, as if the land itself mourns the loss of its people.
Once a thriving swampy lowland known as the Glooming Marsh, this region is now overtaken by apocalypse vegetation, with remnants of small villages and farms buried beneath the overgrowth. Giant carnivorous plants dominate the marshland, while the waters teem with mutated plant creatures eerily resembling amphibians and reptiles. Key locations include abandoned fishing villages and merchant stands, relics of a simpler life, and an old, underwater train system—a safe passage to Ragsak, a nearby island once home to amusement parks and the like. Though the area is largely uninhabitable, rumors persist of some lingering residents, though no credible evidence has been found. The dangers here are numerous, from the amphibian- and reptile-like plant creatures that lurk in the waters to the oppressive humidity and thick, heavy air. Despite the dangers, the marsh holds valuable resources such as rare underwater minerals, and possibly salvageable parts from the old train system. As it is one of the areas located beside a large body of water, you may travel across it using the fishing boats laying around. However, the boats seem to shake and while in the middle of the waters, you seem to find unknown tendrils sneaking along the side of the boat.

Once a vibrant tourist destination, now lies buried beneath layers of mutated flora, this island's once-fanciful buildings, grand hotels, and lively amusement parks are now overtaken by nature’s wrath as the area lies in the middle of the waters, an island standing by itself. The beautiful beaches that once drew crowds are now dangerous, overrun by dangerous water creatures—grotesque hybrids of sea life and plant organisms that lurk near the shore. The island, now hazardous and largely uninhabitable, is filled with treacherous vegetation, some carnivorous and toxic to humans. Key areas, such as abandoned amusement parks, decaying hotels, and the dangerous coastlines, hide valuable resources like unique samples for medicine and remnants of recreational equipment. Despite the ever-present dangers, the island still holds the remnants of its former glory, waiting for those brave enough to venture into its wild, overgrown depths, and may also find the largest amphitheatre of the land. Beyond the facilities, also lies a dense forest, where past such place lies a once popularly-visited waterfall and its lake wherein a bridge strung up by vines is built across it, a former popular spot for pictural purposes. However, if one was to dive into the clear waters, one may be greeted by a... breath-taking sight.
