As you pick this up, three people come up to you, interested at this story book you found beside you. They offer to read it for you.
Long long ago, there existed a being; the most beautiful and loving being, with a heart filled with adoration but also heart-wrenching loneliness. She desired for company, a space she would call her own and share with another so much that she decided to create a utopia. It had everything she wanted. An abundance of tiny and towering plants, animals slithering across the skies, seas, and land, and her best creations yet, the Humans.
She made them all with a special kind of love, and in return, her creations called her Mother.
It didn’t take a fool to see how Mother favored the Humans the most. Mother loved the Humans, and the Humans loved her. They all lived in perfect harmony, an image of an indescribable paradise that the sun shone brightly upon.
Soon, Mother’s heart was filled with so much fondness, specifically for the humans, that in the end, she bore once more -- a child that was purely made of light, shining with the warmth of an intimacy that could only be found in Mother’s Love. Though, as skilled Mother was at creating, her naming left much to be desired. The child was named PRIMO, and from that moment on, they worked together with Mother to make Earth a better place.
However, years and years later, the Humans became greedy. Their heart that was carefully crafted by Mother slowly lost its luster -- the kindness itself that Mother made sure to fill it with. They took more than what was offered to them -- they grew hungry for power, they hoarded the resources. The humans’ heart was cracked, it was tainted black. They could no longer hear Mother’s cries, nor Mother’s begs for salvation.
And what was once Mother’s paradise, soon became her damnation.
Mother felt betrayed. She couldn't believe that the humans would treat her and all she's given them this way. Right there and then, the most beautiful and loving being started to grieve, and the more hurt Mother’s heart was weighed… her Child started to fade. Because where there was no love, PRIMO could no longer be.
Desperate to make things better, PRIMO started reaching out to people through a human form. They sought their most powerful and asked them to change. However, these Humans became terrified. They saw the PRIMOs an otherworldly being, a threat to their future and success, and had them killed. Alas. They didn’t know that when a Deity takes on a mortal body, their essence does too; so as PRIMO died human, their soul followed suit.
Mother felt them disappear.
The moment they did, Mother knew whose hands were tainted with the blood her Child had spilled. She didn’t want to believe it, she refused to believe it. But the more she hid the truth, the more it hurt her too. She knew.
After everything she did.
After everything she gave.
The Humans killed her loving Child.
Mother raged.
She pronounced a ‘Cleansing’ of the place that the Humans had destroyed. However, as her heart was filled with so much pain, she couldn’t bear the added burden of destroying everything she and PRIMO worked so hard to build.
Angry tears kept pouring; flooding the oceans, overflowing the seas. And with this anguish and fury, she bore another child. This child was named SECUNDI, and they wielded Mother’s resentment as their blade with a judgement that would be bestowed on the Humans who made Mother this way.
...But Mother was kind. She was too kind, after all.
She held mercy in her heart and knew that not all humans were evil. Thus, she proclaimed:
“Whoever survives would be granted forgiveness. They will earn the privilege to live in the new world cleansed from evil. This world will be naught by the filth you call Human, and this world shall be named..."
"Eden.”
However, despite this mercy, Mother hated the Humans still. She wanted her Cleansing, and Cleansing she’ll receive. At the end of the day, her paradise will be free from the Humans. At the end of the day, her utopia will come back and exist...Yet, do you want to hear a secret?
A rumor runs.
What Mother didn’t know is that PRIMO didn’t actually die because they were special. Sadly, existing or not, death took a toll on PRIMO which had permanent repercussions. Their soul was invisible to Mother, and they were trapped in certain places -- far from civilization and deep into obscurity. But that didn’t stop them seeking help.
They called for the certain Humans who can hear their voice. Mother might dislike the Humans, but for the Child, the Humans were once their favorite companions.
The Child wanted the Humans to survive. The Child would make sure that the Humans would survive. The Child would make the Humans worthy once more, so that they will become--
The Heirs of Eden.
