Heinzeen - Cybersecurity Ph.D. Student

About me

I am a Ph.D. student in cybersecurity at the Sapienza University of Rome. I graduated in Engineering in Computer Science (both M.Sc. and B.Sc.) from the same university.

I enjoy studying computer science from a low-level perspective; I love the way we can understand what a computer does by playing with ASM and C code and the way it interacts with other complex modules like libraries or even the whole operating system. I use this passion to understand how we can make software more secure by operating with it in its more general form: binary software. When we are able to produce a solution that can work at binary level, we have a solution that can potentially operate in every existing software; unfortunately, the drawback of having this potential, is that creating such a generic solution is generally more complex.
