Our lab focuses on multi-scale chemo-mechanical characterization of advanced civil engineering materials. Dr. Kim’s research combines computational modeling, machine learning, and experimental methods to design novel construction materials with enhanced resilience and adaptability. This work advances disruptive technologies in engineered materials, including 3D concrete printing, autonomous construction, and rapid infrastructure deployment.
